Champagne flutes were filled to the top as girlfriends passed around their phones, swiping right or left for one another. Laughter, the oohs of interest, and shrieks of horror consumed most of the conversation. What started as a connection, made by a girlfriend who knew her best, turned into endless conversations and a first date. Months later he proposed, and she said yes! Lavish nuptials followed and the sound of pitter-patter became music to their ears.
